Website Design with Custom Online Booking System
After we designed their innovative brochure, Phinn Crating & 3rd Party Services hired us to build their website. Of course they wanted the site to promote their crating, packing and affiliated services, but they also required an extensive online booking section and order-tracking system.
Not wanting to box ourselves in, we coded a superb system for clients to easily book an appointment or request a quote. Repeat customers are able to log-in for order revision and tracking. One entry panel can be seen here. Much to Phinn's delight, as soon as the site went live, new customers started to book orders!
The coding of the main website broke new ground for Walden. Normally, website pages need a repeating pattern on borders and backgrounds, so they look correct as they lengthen or shorten, as determined by the amount of content. But wood grain doesn't repeat in a consistent pattern! Our ingenious team figured out a way to design a crate that magically grows and shrinks, without creating an unnatural appearance to the wood.
