Website Design for Non-Profit Club in Toronto
The Marine Aquarium Society of Toronto (MAST) is the largest saltwater hobbyist group in Ontario. Once Walden designed their logo, membership cards and letterhead, the club organizers were ready to take the next step. They decided that they wanted a modern website, that would be simple to update, and easily found by the search engines.
An underwater theme was the perfect fit for a marine aquarium group. We created a Flash animation for the homepage including animated bubbles and photographs displaying the beauty of saltwater creatures. The navigational structure uses a drop-down menu – a great way to keep a large number of pages organized, and simple to expand.
The club is thrilled with the design and the optimization was a huge success! The club is now #1 in Google for many of the major search terms, including "marine aquarium".
