Every portrait benefits from Photoshop adjustment. Small contrast and saturation changes may be all that's needed. But more substantial retouching is often required to make someone look their best "natural" self.
Since we shouldn't show "before & after" client portraits, a family member volunteered his images. Here we've used a variety of techniques to remove acne blemishes, brighten teeth and normalize skin tone.

The only photo Revvida had available of their POP display was the snapshot at far left. Since an image was needed quickly for a new retail flyer, our Photoshop skills went to work.
We carefully removed the background, digitally corrected some minor scratches and corner damage, then adjusted the contrast, lighting and color balances. The improved image worked perfectly (see the brochures & flyers page).

The far left photo showed a child enjoying the Kiesler's Campground water slide. But the kid in the foreground didn't look too happy, so we replaced him with water. Some color saturation, sharpening and cropping helped complete a stronger marketing image for Kiesler's website.

When Toronto event-decorating service Balloon FX won first place in a sculpture competition, they asked Walden to improve a photo of their balloon ballgown for use in media releases and on their website (which we also designed). We removed the background completely, saturated the colors, and adjusted the highlights, so the award-winner sparkled even more.

Blue Winners World Wide (see the brochures & flyers page), wanted images of monitors displaying their casino games. Since taking actual pictures wasn't possible, we simulated the photos.
We started with stock images of computer screens and illustrations of each game. The game images were then distorted to fit the screens and merged with the extracted monitor photos.
