Toronto Flyer Design: Revvida

Revvida Energy Drink is new to Canada. After a strong response to some magazine advertising we did for them, they wanted a flyer to convince retailers to carry the product in stores.

We found stock photography of an athletic woman, but she needed to look more wholesome for the advertisement. Some Photoshop magic to remove her navel piercing and perfect her skin did the trick. Some more digital manipulation turned a quick client shot of a POP display into something suitable for reproduction (see the photo retouching page).

The concise copy we wrote outlined the product benefits to both the retailer and his/her customer – resulting in a very successful campaign.

Toronto Flyer Design: Uplifter
To surprise a recipient, an Uplifter uses helium balloons to raise a hidden banner out of a box. Walden designed all of the Uplifter products, packaging and marketing materials. When the line was ready to launch, it needed an effective direct mail flyer to convey the experience it provided.

We found a cute expressive model and created strong "before" and "after" photos of her with an Uplifter. It proved difficult for the model to hold the product perfectly straight while looking at the camera, so some digital retouching realigned the banner and box. Selected colors were saturated to make the images vibrant.

Since the photos told the story well, we just accented them with minimal text. The result? The first product run sold out in weeks!

Toronto Brochure Design: B3W
Blue Winners World Wide (B3W) is a European group of companies providing online casino resources. They wanted a glossy multi-page brochure to get noticed in a competitive field. (Note: Due to file size, only a 3-page section of the brochure is available here as a PDF).

Walden sorted through materials produced by their competitors and saw a need for less industry jargon and more straight-forward and persuasive language. We wrote compelling text that clearly outlined B3W's benefits to those considering start-up operations.

We then adjusted stock photography hues so each brochure page had a dominant color scheme. This helped partition the large amount of information, so it could be easily grasped by potential customers.

Toronto Brochure Design: Doctor V
Dr. Peter Vignjevic is a Hamilton dermatologist who hired Walden to help increase the cosmetic-procedure portion of his business. After great success with our website optimization and online advertising services, he asked us to design a new 2-sided 3-panel brochure for interoffice use.

Walden provided on-site photography, text editing and graphic design services to make the brochure. We repeated the female silhouette from his logo (which we also designed) as an interesting background image for the cover.

Brochure Design Toronto : MagMover
MagMover manufactures unique equipment for display and party businesses.

Walden was involved in every aspect of MagMover's mini-catalog. (Note: Due to file size, only a 4-page display-products version is available here as a PDF). We took every photo, wrote all the text, created a logo for each product, and designed a layout that managed to incorporate the volume of material in the available space.

Each product image was carefully removed from its original background in Photoshop, allowing placement on coordinating backgrounds with matching drop shadows for depth. These versatile product images were then also adaptable for use on the MagMover website and in distributor catalogs throughout the world..
